| Ritual (Jack Caffery Series #3) | Mo Hayder |
| El Paso | Winston Groom |
| And the Whole Mountain Burned | Ray McPadden |
| Street Freaks | Terry Brooks |
| Baby's First Felony | John Straley |
| The Outsider | Stephen King |
I had a very busy September, travel-wise, but I think 6 books is a record low for me! Of course, it helps that they were all good reads. Stephen King is a master and The Outsider was on the Bestseller list for a long time. El Paso is about the Mexican Revolution and it's good; it has gunfights, daring escapes, and an unforgettable bullfight. And the Whole Mountain Burned is about Vietnam, the war and its horrors. Ritual and Baby's First Felony are mystery/crime capers and well worth the read. Brooks usually writes fantasy but dips into Sci-Fi with Street Freaks. It's also a good read.
